Fast and flexible choices in blow molding
On the blowowmolding process, SIPA can provide fast and super-flexible solutions. For fast production and sizes up to 3 liters the revolutionary rotary blowmolding system XTRA can do the job while for asymmetrical, handled, large and extra large size containers SFL Linear Blowmolding platform is the best.
SIPA’s revolutionary XTRA stretch-blowmolding system was unveiled few years ago, and is now in full production. It combines features that for the first time maximize performance and cut Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) by a full quarter. It offers the highest unit output (bhc) in the sector, an extra-wide processing angle, reduced energy consumption, high flexibility, and ease of use, as well as compatibility with other machines upstream and downstream.
XTRA can produce 2550 bottles per hour per cavity, thanks to important advances in kinematics and mechanical movements. Such a high figure makes it possible to reduce the number of blow molds for any given total output requirement, accelerating changeover times and lowering investment costs. The active process angle on the XTRA is 200 degrees – a value that exceeds current market standards by some 15% and facilitates production of bottles of excellent quality, even at high speeds. Such a wide active process angle makes it possible to apply high pressure air for up to 0.8 seconds, enabling production of containers, even the most complex ones, with extreme accuracy.
For larger formats, for oval bottles and for containers with handles, linear SFL equipment provides the best solution, yielding outputs of up to 19,000 units per hour. With an SFL, the user is ideally placed to follow market developments, needing only to make a modest investment in molds rather than a complete new machine to equip themselves for the latest trend.

This type of filling is particularly appreciated for the fact that it avoids overfills: by measuring the weight directly in the container (net weight), the weight filling system takes into account the changes in pressure, temperature or nature of the oil, and adapts to intrinsic changes of the product during production cycle.
